Beware Counterfeit Garrett Pro pointers are out there !!

I just found out from Garrett a pinpointer I bought a couple months ago on ebay that was listed as for parts or repair is counterfeit. side by side with a known real one it's pretty close. bottom one is fake.

Ugh, fakes are everywhere! I frequent a vehicle museum where they just discovered the 1957 BMW motorcycle and sidecar they had on display is a Chinese knockoff! Thankfully it was on loan and not purchased by the museum. Too bad it's come to that. Thanks for the heads up on this.
