Blind Squirrel Unearths Silver Nut

I got out for a few hours tonight and hit a local, older school. I've never had great luck there but given the age and the size of the property I would suspect there's a few goodies there somewhere. The E-trac seemed to have a hard time but it leveled out after a while. I did alright, scoring 68 coins total worth $6.16 which included 4 wheats, a '53 nickel, a '58 Canadian penny, and a '62 quarter. The quarter is my first silver of the year and made my night! I'm off to such a slow start this year that I'll take just about anything at this point.

Happy hunting.

That is an awesome first silver of the year! :happydance01:
Must have been very sweet seeing that big silver
rim at first glance.
You were just in a little bit of a rut... we all end up there
several times each year, at least I know I do.
You broke the seal, so now it's time to start pulling
the silver in. :peace:
Congrats on the silver and all that clad Z!

Nice silver. Did you notice that the date and the word liberty are somewhat cupped. Particularly the date. I wonder if this is damage or wear, or is this an error coin? You might check out 1962 for errors. :)
