Boydell Bros medal

Had to work today so had just a little time to detect. Went to my neighbors house and all of our houses are from the turn of the century.
Found the little metal at about 5 among some roots. It measures about 1 1/2 x 1 and says Boydell Bros on the front and on the back it says ON. I know that they were a paint company but I don't know when this item was made.
It looks like it could be mounted on something as there are 3 holes.

Also found a 1956 wheat and about $1.50 in clad.

Any help would be appreciated.

Pretty sure that it say either NO or ON, I don't see any numbers.
