Bucket lister....Capped Bust!!!!

Last year my top 2 bucket listers were a Flying Eagle Cent or a Capped Bust anything. Neither materialized. Well I guess I was off by one year, at least for the Capped Bust anyway. Found her along an old cart road where I also found my first Seated Quarter a few years ago. Also pictured are some of my other various finds from this spring, including a vintage sterling Navy ring that someone wore almost smooth. I sure wish I could ID and return but there are no initials. The top of that bell is silver plated but the rest of it appears to be solid silver. No 925 mark so I'm thinking it must be late 1800's or early 1900's. Here's the link to YouTube vid to see some other finds if you like. Thanks for looking!

Thanks for looking, and Happy memorial Day!

Nice set of finds and congrats on the Capped Bust dime! Good to see you check the old roads as well - folks often pass those opportunities up. BTW something seems corrupted with the vid as you can't view it from here. Maybe take a quick look.

Huge congrats on the bucket lister and its a great looking Capped Bust. Very nice pile of keepers. Skeleton keys are always welcome in my keeper pouch as would be those buttons.

great finds but the bust coin stole the post ! huge congrats on the sweet silver !:perfect10:

So many wonderful relics in this post, but that Capped Bust Dime takes the prize! I can't stop looking at it! It is a beautiful coin with great detail still. I love the fact that Capped Bust Dimes are larger in diameter than all dimes that came after. It makes them extra special.

:congrats:

Was your cap bust deep, and how did it ring up? Curious. Oh and congrats! :notworthy:

I would say it was about 5-6 inches deep near the base of a tree along an old cart road. I think it rang in like a 1-29 or 2-29 on the Minelab SE Pro....something like that.

Never seem to find especially deep coins myself, so you're proving to me it's just a matter of getting the coil over the target. NICE FIND BUDDY.
