BUTTON DAY WITH SNIFFY

Got out with Jessie to a few sites,the one we got to in the picture had us drooling :drool: but,somebody pounded it hard.i got 2 plain buttons, a piece of pewter clock face? and what i think may be a butt plate piece? :dontknow:.went to a standby site that Jess pulled a bunch of buttons in the past. I popped quite a few tiny plain cuff buttons 2 designed one pieces.one looks like possible thistle motiff on it?
was a gorgeous day outside.no ticks one mosquito he didn't make it :blackeye: SPLAT!

sure is a nice big colonial site Dave , looks like a lot of area to swing a coil too. i see some early buttons and i agree it looks like a musket or long rifle stockplate . |:cheering:
