capped bust dime

The dime that survived time. And nicely at that. Congrats Dan, she's a beauty!

Brian you just found your fist silver coin but I'll tell you what , it never gets old . thanks

I will post the buttons soon Dan, obviously I couldn't do it today due to prior commitments. Btw Dan, one of my buttons turned out to be an early Engineer corps button but it's in ruff shape even though it still has gold gilt on it. It came out of the "military button pen"

Hey Todd , I understand completely ...
hope both buttons show a lot of detail

I just had to come back for a double take on the old capped dime, that is a beautiful coin.

................................................ :congrats:

thanks you very much Larry , I'm surprised you midwest guys don't find a few more of these coins around.

Great dime Dan!

Thanks Tom

Nice Capped Bust dime, I only ever found two CB dimes, and both found lying side by side on top of a tilled field! 1820 & 1825, very decent shape to boot. Still looking for a early year Capped Bust Quarter. Wait, any year Capped Bust Quarter would do........

Don

Yeah a C.B. quarter or half would be an unbelievable day Don , thanks

Awesome finds Dan! You guys had a great day to be out. That CB is just awesome!

Roger , the company and the weather were only matched by the quality of finds that day . thanks

That is an absolute beauty of a coin. Almost two hundred years old and it still looks new. Wow, what a find.

Fantastic Dan. Would make my summer if I found a capped bust dime. Have to settle for the 2 in my coin collection for now, and they're not as nice looking as the one you found. Thanks for sharing.
