Coinstar does it again !

Cheap Thrills

Another silver quarter and some coinage from my friendly neighborhood Coinstar machine . My detecting for this year so far has only given me two silver Roosies whereas the Coinstar has given me two silver Washingtons . I'll take it .The reason the one Mexican coin is photographed by itself was , I had forgotten to put it in my first pictures . For as good as its pictures came out I might as well have left it out but I figured someone may have never seen one .As far as detecting goes my opportunities have become even more dismal . I haven't door knocked in years and that's pretty much out of the question for me as the newer residents around here for the most part are not as cordial as my old neighbors are ( a sign of the times I guess ) .

Those are some pretty nice coinstar finds! Hard to find much in those machines in my area with the ghetto rats snagging anything they think might have any value especially if it's "free"! Had caught them even trying to grab my rejected coins while I was cashing in by ducking down and reaching behind me. :shocked03: Still, I've managed a few good scores this year! :) Very tough door knocking most places nowadays. Met the most unfriendly and hostile folks that way.

Have you tried coin roll hunting, George? Nice score on the silver no matter how you grab it. Chris sounds like he has to keep a good eye on his surroundings  :shocked03:

I used to coin roll hunt Drew and had some great success but know more people ( including the tellers ) are
hip to it and it's not even worth the trouble . Yeah , it sounds like Chris has his share of low lifes :devilish: lurking about .
