Got our with Gary to a cellar hole.was pounded.I got one button :embarrassed: the other site we located was so grown in it wasn't even huntable.
We then decided to go to a old field and that's where we had our best luck. A copper for him & a copper for me looks like a King George the III and this interesting hallmarked piece of etched silver.no idea at all what it could have been or be used for
hope somebody (elbows Dan) can shed some light on this piece.it's definitely a colonial period hunk of silver. Somebody mentioned it may be a bar link off a old pocket watch chain :thinkingabout:
