Community Center is Still Giving..SILVER

Digger Don

I stopped back at the community center ball park that I hit last week. I was there about an hour before I had to stop due to the heat. I dug another 4 Wheats, a 1940 Merc, a silver rose ring stamped 925 and a R.R. token of some sort. ( it's probably fairly old because of the 3 letter abbreviation for Wisconsin ) . I've found all the coins on the 1st base side so far. I haven't even touched the 3rd base line yet.

Nice to see some silver still coming out of that place. I think the token is fairly new, as I remember making some back in the late 60's early 70's. They were sold out of do it yourself vending machines. The abbreviation for Wisconsin was probably due to running out of characters. Nice little ring too!

WTG on the merc and ring. I agree with coinnut about the token being fairly new. I found one once with an address of one of my neighbors so I gave it to him.
