This is a compilation of house, park, field hunts.

The buttons, one backmark is Wadhams Coe & Co Extra rich....1830's. The small one is L. Kendrick Extra...1830's. The two piece I can't read the back mark. All three are gold gilt. I think I have one pewter button also.

Got 7 wheat's, one is a 1915D another 1916.
Also got a 1909 IH.

Got a nice skeleton key and a estuchon plate.

That's it for now....HH everyone

That's a thick layer of gold on that button, Al! Don't you think skeleton keys should be more abundant?? I've only found a small handful. Yours looks to be in great shape!

Good assortment of finds Al. I like the buttons a lot. Does the 1909 IHC have a mint mark? HH, Dave.

Thanks Dave. That is my 3rd 1909 but sadly no "s" mark.

Drew, yeah its got a lot of gold left on it. The front side has a nice design but it has some of that green stuff (verdigris?) on it. If anybody knows how to remove that stuff please chime in. I agree on the skeleton keys, there should be more of them, love digging them.

Awesome 1909 Indian! :clapping:

Thanks Ken. It had been awhile since I had dug an IH.

Great set of finds, love that key!

Thanks DOD. Skeleton keys are always welcome in my keeper pouch.

Nice assortment of finds. Wish I had some areas to find older relics but they just dont turn up that much. WD

Thanks WD. Fortunately I happen to live in an area (New England) that has some history to it.
Nice digs Al. I love finding those green skeleton keys.

Thanks Jeff. I've gotten some old rusty iron skeleton keys but the nice green patina ones are my fav's

Just a little.

The skeleton key is my fav too!
It's a big one from the looks of it in the picture. Sweet!:thumbsup02:
Congrats on the keepers!

We'll let Dan chime in on this but do you think some CLR would losen up the "green stuff"?

Tim, I have tried using CLR but it didn't help much.

Congrats on a nice assortment Al! Skeleton keys are always great finds and your's looks to be in great shape.

John

John, If I can get the verdigris off of the Coe's button then that would turn into my fav from this hunt, but until that happens the key is it.
