Cool find while detecting

I went back with my dolly and my son. My mama didn't raise no fool. I had him do most of the grunt work. It wasn't easy dragging it the 400 yards through the thick blanket of leaves fallen branches and trying to avoid the swampy areas. Not to mention the wall of pricker bushes lining the road.
Well worth the effort even if most of it wasn't mine.
 
Wow! That is a really cool item! Very interesting looking. I would definitely keep the original wood on it.
