Another great find from the G man!!:clapping: I must have found a few hundred of those. Last time I checked they were worth 25 cents. With the temps close to 50 this weekend, head back there. Don't forget to invite Dan this time!

Well , you didn't get skunked , scratch the coin , were able to post a nice picture and this post makes #21 ( make that #22 ,dang that machine looks nasty ) . I would say you had a good day .Finding a clad quarter in my neck of the woods has gotten to be a thing of prestige .If you were a member of the local club you would probably win for best find of the month , the prize .............. a silver quarter .

Not too many dug from the ice. I've evolved from my early detecting days. Most days if the item is under frozen ground, it stays there until a thaw.
But I do admire your insane persistence!
