Couple hours at the beach

Hi all,
I got out this morning for a couple hours after work for a beach hunt. Still early in the season, but starting to find a lot more clad, plus found a huge chain and one ring. Pretty sure the ring is aluminum though since it only rang up at a 12-41. Odd thing is a small hallmark inside, but guessing a maker's mark maybe. Still a cool find, and first beach ring of the season. The chain was an eyeball find. Running a version of the tadpoles pattern it hit in the one corner that's discriminated out around a 28-47. Go figure.

Update and photos: the ring I found IS Sterling! Once I got to work wherein have my test kit and my ultrasonic cleaner, I was able to see the .925 stamp, and verified it with the acid test. I can only guess it rang up lower because of the lattice design.
