A few days ago I finished detecting the old yard I hunted last week.
Although I didn't find any more silver I found another indian head
cent and about 10 wheatie's including a 1909 VDB cent which isn't in very good shape but its the 1st one I've found in several years.
Yesterday I had a couple hours to detect a 2 yards, the 1st one was a 100 yrs old but the ground was very hard digging since we haven't had any rain. I did manage to find a wheatie, and a 1920 merc. and decided I would go back after a good rain. I stopped at another house with a small
yard and found another nice 1920 merc and a clad quarter. HH

Nice finds especially the 1909 VDB. Waiting for a good rain to go back to the 100 year old yard is a good plan. After a good rain targets will be popping out everywhere. :congrats:on your keepers

The copper coins held up pretty well. Congrats on the pair of '20 Mercs. :thumbsup01: So close on the '09 Wheat  Can I buy an "S" please? Any place you can pull Indians from is a great location.
