Managed to sneak out of a couple of hours this afternoon and pulled a couple of rosies, along with the usual clad. Both were deep, in the 9-10 inch range when accounting for 3-4 inches of unmowed grass .
I thought I replied to this one but I guess I didn't hit the POST button lol... Anyways, nice couple of silvers and don't you just hate how deep they go. When I started detecting, a 6 deep dime was at least a Mercury and very possibly a Barber. :shocked04: Don't believe them sink rate charts lol Nice additions to the pile. I better get with it on the silver. Everyone is killing me
Nice digs! Thats good depth u are getting. Some soil things sink quick!ive found clad deeper than silver in parks /schools before,,All I can figure is at sometime the ground was moved around.Thx for the pics.HH
