Hiked in to the cellar hole where I pulled the Fugio last month. I had sent my detector in for some repairs and I was anxious to get out and see how it would perform.

Orange and yellow orb spiders everywhere but I couldn't get my cell phone camera to focus on one.

I had sent my 10 double diamond coil in with my detector. Whites checked it and said it failed a shield test (not sure what that is) and sent me a new one free of charge. I had no idea this coil was defective 8/ ....it's been my workhorse for a couple of years with plenty of good finds credited to it. But I noticed right away, the new coil was quieter and the buttons seemed like they were jumping out of the ground. We had pounded this site pretty well too. I think I will need to revisit all of last year's sites to see what I may have missed.

Not sure what the top center button is. Maybe furniture related :dontknow:

I managed a dateless Draped Bust, the scissors and a pretty cool straight razor.

Stay safe!

ya Jeff them spider's webs don't taste half bad after the 8th or 9th time you walk into one mouth first lol lol there everywhere  sounds like your coil had some loose windings in the send signal part of the coil , it makes the coil a bit more chattery (especially in those darn ferns) and because of that you lose some sensitivity to the smaller and deeper targets . congrats on the copper and i love the straight razor :smitten: :smitten:

Nicely done... I notice even the iron targets sound weird when my coil acts up. No targets make a full tone. :dontknow:
I'd also like to know what that top center thing is as I have one too.
Very nice hunt :clapping:
