I got out this past Monday with a couple of friends (Jim and Ron) and hit western Massachusetts , it was a cool day in the Berkshires and great for some hiking and detecting . The Deus II and I haven't been one like my previous machines but the latest update and the new HF coil seemed to be working well this hunt. I did pretty well on buttons especially in the iron along the lips or slopes of the cellar holes 
I even snagged a very wiped out 1803 draped bust large cent it rang out as a 99vdi with double left to right lines on the XY screen which was very unusual but since I've owned this Deus II the XY has been very wonky or erratic .
I did get a kick out of some of the buttons as its the first time i got multiples or the same designed buttons in a single hunt .
the tiny oval brooch in this picture was an interesting find for me both because of its very small size and its floral and butterfly porcelain faced features . Jeff the program that finds buttons in the iron infestation worked very well and I later found out why my XY screen was so erratic or pixelated , on the Deus II there is a feature in the settings that allows you to "zoom" in the XY mode and Lord I don't know why but mine was on 6 and it really over sensitives the XY lines and fractures them to look like junk .this setting should really only be on 1 to 3 at most and I have no idea as to why it was higher but i have a feeling my next hunt may be even better .

The D1 was a button killer and the D2 is finding the ones the D1 missed. I used to use the XY screen but got away from it for some reason. I can't remember why to be honest.
1000 coppers is hard to fathom Dan, it truly is. How many 10+ copper days have you had in your career? I'd love to see the breakdown of those coppers by year, type. I was looking at mine the other day and counted 9 for the year 1818. You probably have 49 of that year. That double-double on the buttons is a rare event!
