Still adjusting to my new hours so have been struggling to get out. Usually rely on the weekends but a wedding got in the way this weekend so I took a day off work. Had made plans to do some new locales but opted for and old standby instead. Had the whole day so tried a few different spots in the area and worked really slow. Found a nice bunch of wheats which usually indicates I left plenty behind and even hit a really solid, albeit lower 12-44, Mercury dime signal. One real tough signal I dug I thought turned out to be a thin silver ring but as I cleared the dirt it was actually a wore SLQ. All in all it was a nice hunt on a gorgeous fall day. Three silvers, 7 wheats, a 1902 "V" nickel and an older Buffalo. I'll see what this weekend will bring. Keep swinging, Wisconsin Digger
