Detecting in the woods again

Hey Diggers,
I went to a new patch of woods hoping to stumble across another 1790's French Army camp. I think I got close. I found 7 French musket balls and a silver 1 Kreuzer coin dated 1758. I found some other interesting doodads and a couple I can't identify. The ornate pointy thing is very nice looking. I'm not sure of its purpose but maybe a cord end (like on a bolo tie) or a tassel end? I'm interested in your theories on it! The pin-fire shotgun shell is marked LONDON and goes nicely with the PARIS one I found a few weeks ago. Here's some pics. Thanks for looking and HH, Dave.

Right about now I wish I was rich , so I could fly over there in my private Jet and buy us a nice Schnitzel dinner and a pitcher of that great white beer with the lemon slices , which would then be followed up with a great hunt . Wow ! What great stuff ! In all my years of following forums I believe I've only seen two other posts with pinfires posted in them and they were nowhere near as in great condition as yours . Plus you found another silver Kreuzer , Fantastic ! As far as those pointed thingies , I'm thinking those go on the ends of those braided military awards that go on the shoulder flaps of dress uniforms . I believe in three years you are going to have to enlarge your trophy den into a decent sized museum . I really look forward to your posts .

I agree, you're having WAYYY too much fun over there! Lol Great looking pinfire rounds and that silver is in awesome condition! Not sure about the pointy thing. Looks really familiar but just can't put my finger on it.
