Got a letter from the Conservation Commission.I can't believe they gave me permission to hunt the fields. They sent me a letter,but with some stipulations. I have to have a copy of the letter,all dug holes must be refilled and tamped down, good for only 2012. Also no activities can be conducted until after the July mowing of the fields. As for town owned conservation / open space property, I have hunted a little following the fill, tamp & leave no trace procedure. I never formally sought or got permission when I was living within the same town. I probably assumed too much while I was a resident. You covered yourself by getting the ok.
