I got this 58 Wheat in my change from my morning coffee, there are two D mintmarks, its not really pronounced but it is there, I put it under one of those Radio Shacks 100 magnification scopes and it is more noticeable, I tried to get as close as I could for the photos, some are a little better than others, so what do ya think? can I buy that yacht now :thinkingabout:

Hey Steve coins showing minor traces of doubling are not as valuable as fully doubled coins. like Dave said good eye buddy. You might get a dingy but no yacht this time lol lol lol lol lol

What can misprinted coins be worth? I am pretty sure I have one I found with the letter canted, not square to the world. I never really paid much attention to the mint marks. martin

Check The Lincoln Cent Resorce WEB site. They have pictures of known DD etc. I don't see your 58 D listed. I think what you have is a MDD (Machine Doubling) 5:clapping:. No extra value as it is very common.

Check the the late Wheats. Many of them have Die Breaks on the Wheat Stalks on the REV and Die Chips( AKA Filled Die) on the Dates (OBV). From 54 - 58 you should find 3-4 for 50 searched.

But if it make you feel better bring it to Colorado and I'll trade you lunch at 5 Guys for it <:.

BTW, how is my Silver Dime doing? Now that the Dolt's are down the tube (Sorry Indy :beatdeadhorse I might win it back. If I don't bet on the Donkeys.
