Door Knocking!

I did a door knock yesterday and got a permission on an old house, started by digging old wheats, 1911-1917-1919 ad was wondering when an Indian would show up, finally did a nicely detailed 1902. The Indian has an iron stain and I am working on cleaning that. Finally popped a Merc, both literally and figuratively a nice 1936. A surprise was an 1953 Portuguese 10 Centavos and finished with a Frigidaire pocket mirror.

Perhaps dropped by a "not-so-early" Portuguese explorer in 1953? LOL. Door knocking is the way to find the virgin sites, well done Tony and HH, Dave.

Very nice hunt... love the variety. Door knocking is definitely the best way to go around here!

Door knocks are really paying off for me as well this year. Im at 39 silver coins for the year and thats my most ever by far. Keep up the nice finds!

Wow Tony, is there more land there? I've never even seen a Portuguese 10 centavos. Congrats!

Big yard I did not get to thoroughly get to cover it all, will be going back when I can go a bit slower, I had an appointment which may give me a couple more houses to do. More land, well I guess the farmer has 3,500 acres he farms and I have permission on them! Now I have to do the research on the fields, I was able to find out exactly where his fields are and I drove by them and they are all in beans! Now it is old map study time to pin down any sites on them.

Private homes really can pay off, :congrats:on your keepers. 3500 acres.....that's about a century of detecting.....
