Draped Busty Thingy

This was found at a very old cellar hole where we found 10 flat buttons, including dandies, and almost no new trash. It looks 1976ish to me. Any ideas as to what it is? Thanks, Shoe

:thinkingabout: :thinkingabout: strange that it would have the 1770 date and the &quot:grin:raped bust type image that didn't come out until 1796 on the large cent

It actually says 1776, which led me to believe it was a commemorative thing from the bicentennial. :dontknow:

It has tabs like it was attached to cloth or leather or something. Looks to have some age to it.

I wonder if it is a centennial emblem made in 1876? :thinkingabout:

Interesting piece, whatever it is!

Drew if it has the 1776 date on it then i would agree with Tony and say its a centennial piece made around 1876 and it could of been for just about anything .
