Dug a lot of buttons today

I dug 40 and my partner dug 38.

Nice bunch of buttons. They started making the great seal button in 1902 to present day. Cool find. I have only found 2 great seal buttons, one real large one and one cuff button. They are a real adrenaline rush when you dig one.
 
Dang M&M, I find a lot of them at old house places , but ant ever found that many the hole time I have been hunting. Must have been a training camp around their. There was a WW2 trianing camp in Henry Co. about 25 miles east of me.

I'm lucky if I find one at all. lol I've found two total, not including modern ones. :rolleyes:

They were all the same. I found a second map that shows the facility and the area where all the buttons were found is labeled laundry. Not sure why the military buttons are there since I can find no record of anything military on site. I am sure there are another 70 there we just got tired of digging them. lol
