early hunt yields nice silver

Went out early this morning and began digging :detecting: before it became too hot. I hunted a corner lot where the owner has scraped about three inches of the topsoil off to prep for new sod. I spent around four hours there and came up with three silver dimes and a sterling silver ring. The ring was laying on top of the ground and was undamaged by the Bobcat. I'm getting the hand of this ETRAC. Thanks Cybersage!!

Some great finds there, Alderan! Silver dimes, a nice silver ring, and I really like that enameled button too!

:congrats:

When I first got my E-Trac I did quite well with it but I didn't find any nickels for the first several weeks. I was ignoring those low tones when I should have been paying attention to them, looking for target ID numbers in the vacinity of 12-13.

Yeah I tested the ETRAC with some clad and silver nickels and noticed the lower tone. I appreciate the advice on that and the target ID numbers. In a few months I will be deadly. |:cheering:

nice hunt! 3 silvers and a nice bling...cant complain ! congrats and GL on your next trip there.

Some nice buttons and silver. Sounds like you are fast at learning the E Trac. You will do well with it. thumbsup01
