Easter Wheats

I got out for a two hour hunt this morning, hoping to score some silver at a local school that gave up oodles of wheats, 6 silver coins, and a large cent last year. Silver was not to be had, though I did manage another 7 wheats and a 55 nickel. The oldest wheat is 1909 (no V.D.B). It was disappointing to not score silver but I'm guessing it's still there somewhere.

My weekend totals are in the bottom pic... Friday, Saturday, and today... 256 coins worth $23.34, 8 wheats, two pieces of silver jewelry, my first gold of 2010, and a bunch of the usual trinkets & junk.

WTG Z! Awesome haul you made. Sounds like we both are in a temporary silver slump. But that won't last long..............will it :-\ You gonna hit that place again soon?

That's a very nice three day total - a lot of digging for sure. Good grouping of wheat cents too. thumbsup01
