Update from the silversmith today. He thinks he can repair it pretty good, though it's going to take some time and finesse because it's so fragile. They are currently backed up with work so wait time is over a month. It's really going to be difficult anticipating the results. But at least the price will be well below what I anticipated. When I told him what the budget was, he said he will take special care to do his best and now I'm hoping for near museum quality results! Now I'm just looking for a display case. :thumbsup01:
