Excellent find! Are they made of nickel? Seems like they are usually reddish instead of the bright green.

Copper but I know they ring lower than later ones...

They are 88% copper and 12% nickel. They don't usually hold up to well in the soil but this one looks nice! They often come out of the ground looking reddish like a nickel.
