Finally gold!

A couple of weeks ago I was detecting in an area that I have been finding a few silver coins. When I started to find a few silver coins, I set a goal of ten silvers. I'm kind if trapped here at a campground and am allowed to dig so things could be worse. But anyway about the gold, I was searching for #10 when I got an odd signal. I dig any signal that is out of the ordinary so I end up digging a mangled piece of metal that at first I couldn't identify as a ring. After getting back to my camper, I looked the ring over and could see some writing on it but wasn't making any sense out of it so I put it away. Yesterday I had it out and my daughter took a look at it and could make out Dason and a 10kt on it

My wife likes it because with it being pretty much junk, I'm more likely to sell it rather than keeping it like all my other rings. GL and HH

WTG-huge congrats! Gold is so elusive, many diggers never find even one example-it's tougher in areas where you dig because of all the trash that in the gold range! erfect10:

Nice score on getting gold. Something I haven't achieved yet. A few times when you get the odd readings are the times you get the best finds. It's happened a few times with me.
