First coin of the year

got out with "da'boys" on Sunday and knabbed a Trime and one of my favorite finds a colonial cuff-link , i'll have to do a bit more cleaning to see if the design comes out better. It sure was nice to get out , we must of hiked about 6 or 7 miles . going back to our last site as we only detected there for maybe 2 hours and most of the finds came from there.

Tony , it was hard to miss on the Deus II but it was tough to locate once it was out of the hole with my pinpointer . lol

Congratulations Del! That is a coin that I have not been able to find and so it remains high on my bucket list. It's always fun to go out with "da boys" and do some detecting. Maybe it's time for the Illinois/Wisconsin boys to make another road trip up your way?
