first copper of 2017

Hit a few sites today with Donnie B. and Trooper Bri , all were picked over pretty well but I managed a few to bring home .:happydance01:

the first was where Donnie and I each scoffed a copper , mine was an 1802 draped bust large cent :bananadancefirst copper of the new year) . A few sites later I grabbed a couple of buttons and buckle parts , the tombac surprised me by being a fancy "machined etched" designed one .Also I found a tiny cuff button with 7 , 6pointed stars on it and I thought that was kinda cool ! I'll post the copper again when I get it cleaned up some .

Going out in the AM after work and try my luck at an abandoned 1800s farm in the hopes the ground is thawed. Can't wait to see the copper after your expert cleaning job!
