First copper of the year on New Year's Day!

Got out with the gang on New Year's Day and I got my first copper of the year. It was definitely circulated for a few decades and you can make out Britannia on the reverse. The obverse is toasted. Toast happens. I also got to be the "assist man" :cheering:for some really great finds at a permission that I secured. "Assist man" is a phrase that Danny coined for the guy that gets the permission while everyone else gets the finds. :girlcry::shocked01::lolsign:

Loving the Deus. I even bought a new one to go with the used one I purchased first. Now, I carry the remote and headphones for a back-up detector in my backpack.

It was fun hanging out with the gang! I thought for sure that other half of the buckle would turn up too. It's still there somewhere. Maybe under the deadfall on the lip of the cellar.
