First Hunt of 2018

Digger Don

New member
Well, Noah and I decided to gamble Sunday and try a little detecting. To our surprise, the ground wasn't too bad at all!
I didn't find a lot but, I did manage 4 coins and a few tid bits.
It felt good to get out for a few hours.

Glad you were able to get out and detect Don! Looks like you got a couple nice relics and coins too. What does the token say? Best wishes and HH, Dave.

Couple nice finds for sure! Glad you guys could get out. Just a little north and ground is solid as a rock under the mud from 2 days of rain. Now it snowed again and froze everything once more.

Boy I bet that was therapeutic Don! Nice to see you could get out for a bit and as always you are the silver king my man. BTW I'd consider keeping the Batmobile as a good luck charm for this year. I know I would, but I've got a superstitious streak in me. I keep the first wheat penny I ever found in my pocket when I hunt. Goofy I know.

Nice going, Don! That is a very productive hunt. Lots of nice old coins and relics. The ground is thawing here too.

:congrats:

Congrats on the early silvers and IHs Don!
How far south did you drive!?! We've got at least 6 inches of frost in the grassy areas and the plowed fields? Forget it! You'll just break a ankle out there. Although with the last couple of days getting above freezing you might get muddy before breaking the ankle!

Awesome Batmobile! That's the GW button of hot wheels, the holy grail!! :lolsign:
