First ring, then daughter lets air out of my balloon

I found this in our front yard, and thought at first (prior to cleaning) that it may be a womans wedding band.
As I am cleaning it off at the kitchen sink, my daughter walks up and instantly tells me " that's my old mood ring".
I was a little bummed until I got a really good look at it, and she was correct. I asked her to put it back on to see if it still worked, as that would make my life easier. She is 15 and found no humor in my comment.
Oh well, it was still my first ring.

I actually think this is a pretty incredible circumstance. Daughter either had no idea where she had lost the ring, otherwise the hunt for it would have been deliberate, or it has been lost for so long, she forgot about it. Either way, it has been found and reunited with it's original owner, which is a somewhat rare and personally rewarding feat, in this hobby. Congratulations on finding it and "finding" it's owner!

Congrats on the ring and the comment to your daughter :hystericallaugh: I remember that time period (x2) Glad mine are not 15 anymore :shocked01:

Kasey makes a great point ... not only did you find your first ring but you also located and returned it to the rightful owner , probably the quickest turn around for a returned ring too. Congrats Finster

as for teenage Daughters , I have two right now :overreaction: so don't get me started :rofl:
