First silver for 2012

Headed out this morning with Mike to try to get permission to a few spots that look very promising. We got the OK on both properties |:cheering: At the woods site I found my very first crotal ball :yes: :happydance01: Lots of area to cover here so we decided to split and go to the other site. We'll do a little more research on the woods before we go back.
The next spot was an old abandoned house from the early 1900s. My first taget was a wheat, next was a cool cub scout silver ring happydance02 Got a few more wheats than a nice 12- 49, 12-50. It was pretty shallow, maybe 4. Dug the plug and out came the pocket watch. They are demolishing the house now so we had to watch for 2x4s and 2x8s come flying off the roof. We couldn't really get close to the house. We'll be back!

Nice hunting with some great recoveries. Congrats on your 1st crotal bell and the ring looks great. Could that ring be a Boy Scout instead of Cub Scout?

Great hunt Steve, congrats on the Croatal bell. My son was in the boy scouts for years and never saw a silver ring, very cool. That Was the first time I detected while dodging 2x4's lol :beerbuddy:

I found a Boy Scout ring almost identical to yours last summer. :yes:
The only difference is mine has a small banner below the scout emblem the says &quot:beerbuddy:e Prepared. (the scout motto :groovy
