First silver quarter

IMG_20171107_175604.jpgWent detecting couple days ago for about an hour found a metal button, wheat penny 1923??
Something thin about the size of a penny only thinner and 1963 quarter my first silver quarter not bad for about an hour hunt so far this year this property has given me two silver Merc dimes and two large cents 1831 and 1817
2 Indian Head pennies maybe 6 or so clad coins but can't help but thinks there's more old stuff in the ground this is an old abandoned house will try to post picks of 4 things from the hunt

Congrats on the first! Can't believe you have more LCs than silver quarters, lol. That thin coin is most likely just a rotted zincoln. They don't hold up well in the ground.
 
I think I've figured some things out my MX Sport this year dug a lot of junk so I hope to improve on the silver

That's the best way to figure out your machine. Dig everything and you'll figure it out pretty quick. I borrowed a buddies Minelab SE Pro one summer. The second day out with it I got a screaming signal. I couldn't remember what those numbers where. I knew it was in the pulltab range but I dug it anyways since it was pretty shallow. Turned out to be a 10k class ring!
