Ford Item? Thick metal

Found this in a field. It looks old. Could it be off a early car? It had a piece of metal attached to it. Tore it off when I found it. Just Found it on ebay. Cool it is off a Model T. Here is the Model T key I found last year. Maybe I can eventually find the whole car LOL. Just Like Johnny Cash "one piece of a time"

Yeah, back in those days a hub cap literally only covered the hub! Not like now where they cover the whole wheel. Best wishes and HH, Dave.
