Rob aka Tech125 did some research and found old picnic grove in the woods, so Friday we went there and detected for 4 hours. First hour I got couple wheats and the got good quarter signal 2 inches down and got 1920 SLQ my first with the date. After 10 minutes got bouncy signal on my Ace250 and was rewarded with the pocket spill 2 Mercs(1941,1943d) and 3 wheats. Found couple more wheats and that was all for Friday. Today we decided to go back and I am very glad we did. Found couple wheats in the hour and then got nice signal about 5 inches down bouncing from quarter to half. This time it was big pocket spill, first got 1920 Merc, then Buff no date, scanned the hole again more signals |:cheering: couple wheats follow with 3 Barber Quarters(1900,1904,1906o):yes:es: Rob got some diggs on his camera for that spill so hopefully he will post it here. 15 minutes later got dime signal on the top of the ground and with my pinpointer found 1898 Barber dime:wow:. Got few more wheats and the nice deep signal and after digging 9 inches down under some roots got vey worn and ugly barber dime which I also managed to hit with my digger:no:. Rob found huge gold ring on Friday so guess what
today I found one too. Rob also got that on camera so again hopefully he will post it soon. Soon after that it was time to leave. On my way back to home I stoped by small park just to see if I could find me Rosie to make it dime trifecta and with my luck today I did just that two more silvers (1949d and 1962d Rosie):yes:es: and one wheat. I am including pics of all my finds for Friday and today hunt. Sorry for big post and thanks for looking. Best of luck to all and like always HH. Mike
