From the reviews I have read, it's a pretty good unit for the money. I believe it's around 200 bucks or so. It will pay for itself fairly quickly. The presets are decent and the display is simple and easy to read. Depth is really good for a low end unit. If you are just starting off, it's probably a good choice. A year or two using it and it should pay for itself in clad and jewelry. Just Google Garrett 350 review and do some reading like I just did. Hope this helps you.
