Nice display boxs Earl, hope they bring some of the history to life for the professors talk. Now that they are in cases you can get some empty ones and start filling those up thumbsup01
Hidy RR. The best thing about hunting in a field in Civil War sites. If you get a good signal and it ant a dang beer can, you probably got something good. That is a very nice display and collection you have there cwn.
Wish I had what it takes to relic hunt.
Hidy J. Yep That is what it is. I found it in Trenton last year. If you look on here at Civil War finds,, Jan. 10- 11 There is a close up of it. It was found where N.B forrest's men attacked and captured the Federal troops in Trenton. So it could have come from his men I hope.I found a carved piece of lead Sun. that looks like a ink quill, like yours that you post. Thanks for looking. I posted it just now.:shocked04: :shocked04: Holy schmoly!!!!!!!! What a great bunch of relics CW!! :beerbuddy:
