not that i would ever scan across one but what are fe co numbers on an e trac for members of the eagle family my guess would be pulltab range anyone know

US Gold coins will fall in these ranges on the E-Trac:

$1 US Gold = 12-10, 12-11, 13-10, 13-11
$2 1/2 US Gold = 12-22, 12-23, 13-22, 13-23
$5 US Gold = 12-30, 12-31, 13-30, 13-31
$10 US Gold = 12-38, 12-39, 13-38, 13-39
$20 US Gold = 13-43, 13-44, 14-43, 14-44

ok so its only the quarter eagle that falls the hardest in pull tab range the rest are close to other coin numbers thats good to know

there probly isnt many gold coins to find but at least i know i might get a prize by digging my normal signals

Great info Tony, thanks! I have given up (at heavy trash park sites) digging 12-22/23's because I have dug enough beaver tails to melt down and side an entire large city of buildings. But it's nice to know that the larger denomination coins signal into the 30's and 40's FE which I always dig.

Me too! Those tails get me ALL the time. I should probably keep them and sell them for scrap..I'd make a killing. Probably more value there than all the coins lol

 I didn't know what you meant by beaver tails, then I figured it out. Today has felt like the second Monday this week...

Anyways, I dig those numbers all day in a field, but a park is another story.

Oh, Chief...other than a sore back and knees, you don't know what you're missing!!! I score a lot of Buffs, Vs in that range...but it can be frustrating >{ >:#

thats good to know but to be honest i skip 12-21s unless there really deep 500+ pulltabs later im sick of digging that number range lol
