GOLD, Silver, Indians and a Buffalo

I returned to the grove last Friday and today for a couple of short hunts. I decided to take a walk deeper into the wooded areas looking for spots that looked like someone might take a break from a hike. The first day I started finding shot gun shells in an area so I slowed down and got a nice 12-37 on the CTX next to a tree. It turned out to be a 1903 Indian. About 3 feet away I got another solid 12-40 and it also turned out to be an Indian 1906. I started walking a steep trail and ended up getting a small pocket spill a 53-D Rosie, a Wheatie and a no date Buffalo. The second day was a little slower with two wheats and some clad. Then I got a nice 12-31 at only and inch, I was thinking another shotgun shell. It turned out to be GOLD!! A very nice 14K mens wedding band. It weighs 6.9 grams and is stamped with the manufacturers name GRAVURE. It polished up really nice and will definatlly not go for scrap.
