GOLD & SILVER TODAY ! GOLD COIN ? Rings 66 & 67 for the year

Wow what a hunt ! I got out with my hunting buddy Ryan to a school field I had hunting a couple of years ago . I had not found any silver or gold at that time but today was much different !!! It was a 2 hour hunt and about a 1/2 hour in I got a +80 at 3 inches . My first silver of the hunt , a small .925 ring . Not more than 15 minutes and I get a +18 , +24 at 3 inches . It is GOLD <: !!! At first it looks like a penny size pendent so I flip it over and it has a small gold coin mounted in it !! It is dated 1899 but it is not a real coin >:{ . It is marked 835 ,witch I believe is 20 or 22K . The coin is gold but made to look like an old U.S. gold coin . So is this my first gold coin :thinkingabout: ?
Next is the big .925 silver spinner ring at 2 inches eace: . This one was a screamer at +87 VDI . The finale good find was in the wood chips of the play ground , a very small 14K gold Disney pendent . happydance02
Last I also found a 1997 Canadian penny , 1986 Singapore 50 cent coin , pin , pendent and $8.75 in clad . I am ready to get out again . Rings are numbers 66 & 67 . thumbsup01

Just did an acid test to the coin and the setting . They are real gold ! I only have up to 18k acid and it passed with flying colors on both . It weighs 3 grams for only the size of a penny . I think it could be 22k because it is so dark in color and heavy for it's size . thumbsup01

Glen, what a hunt |) |) I just found that same link and was gonna post it for you, but you already got it lol It looks like it's gonna be 20K since, 20K = .833 and 22k would be .917. That was one hunt for the record books man :daydream: :smitten: :smitten:
