Gold wedding band

Hello Folks,

I hit a soccer field today that I found with my GPS and found my first gold ring of the year. A 14k gold mens wedding band that weighs 8.2g, my heaviest to date. Last year, I pulled 9 gold rings ranging from small to medium in size with VDI's of 8 to 22. This one VDI'ed at 50. At first, I thought I may have had a corroded zincoln or bottle cap but it locked in on 50 every pass over with the the coil, so I decided to dig it. I knew by the weight and the gold all the way through the scratches that I had a nice chunk of gold. I also found a San Francisco key chain, 2 1/4 ounce weights, 1/2 of a peace ring, 8 quarters, 11 dimes, 6 nickels and 12 pennies for a total of $3.52 in clad.

Thanks for Looking,
Dale
