IMG_1219.jpgIMG_1220.jpgIMG_1221.jpgI met up with Al again this morning and I was fortunate enough to find this 1783 1/2 reale, to date my oldest coin, silver or otherwise! And I finally got a silver quarter there, near where Al scored his seated and Barber quarters last week, and 3 wheaties. Also found the prerequisite buckle and what better time to find a Master's ball marker then two days before the 1st round of the Master's tournament! Rain chased us out but going back Thursday!

Mike, huge congrats on your 1st Spanish silver and your oldest coin....so far. Also you finally nabbed you a silver quarter.....:thumbsup02:

Getting that silver quarter was a matter of principle Al. I was willing to take a chopped in half one

As I was scrolling down I thought your oldest silver ever was the 1951 quarter! LOL Then I scrolled a little further and saw the 1/2 reale. Well done and congrats. HH, Dave.
