Good civil war relic.

Found this in a Union Campsite earlier in the month. It was about 15 inches deep and came in a good bullet signal on my MXT pro. I just thought it was a great find. A bugle mouth piece is not something found everyday around here. Found it in the same area with two sharps carbine bullets and three fired confederate gardners.

Great Save there. Only imagine if that guy using it lived or was killed in battle? Gotta love the MXT Pro, I love using mine in Relic mode 2 tone

My thoughts as I dug this up and realized what it was I wonder who the fella was that carried and lost this piece. I wonder if he was killed on the very spot where I found it or actually syrvived the war. It's just amazing to me. I have found two breast plates and I like this probably as much or more than them. What would have been really great would have been if the owners name had been engraved in it.
