Good weather another hunt

Had great temps yesterday so took the time to try that same area I found the two silvers on x-mas eve day. Unfortunately no silver but did manage a 1908 V nickle, $3.86 in clad, railroad spike, and a true relic pocket knife, not much left of it. Sorry about no pics but still trying to clean up the V nickle a little more, I can see a date and most of the features, so I'm real happy with the find. Hope to get a New Years eve hunt in, hope the weather isn't to bad. Safe & HH

Congrats on the V nickel and for getting out for one more hunt. Finding an old coin always makes me concentrate more.

Very nice! :thumbsup02: As Tony said, a V nickel will make my day.

Too bad it wasn't 1913 Could you imagine... finding a nickle the way they usually degrade- one that could bring $440,000 in mint condition :shocked02: The V nickels I find here in Kentucky, they're always red & pitted.

Sounds like a great haul you had there and congrats on the V :thumbsup01:

......................... :congrats:

where theres V-nickles there is a nice selection of potential old coins to be found , congrats on the coin . hope to see it cleaned up Timewarpdigger
