Got out this afternoon

Decided to leave work early today to get out and swing some. Got about an hour and a half in and went to an old farmhouse I;ve hit hard in the past. Today I found a pocket knife, a lock plate, a hammer for a cap gun, a little foil heart that says start knitting here. Also found a large caliber musket ball and 2 Indian Heads....1864 & 1900

Great finds. I would check that 1864 for the L version. Also some L's have a double date. great digs.

Thanks for that...I had forgotten there was that version of the 1864...unfortunately there is no L, however...oh well..maybe next one will have it... thumbsup01
 
That L is extremely hard to locate. I thought mine was not, but it was. Funny how Longacre hid that L until someone caught wind of it :grin:

Yeah he did hide it quite well didn;t he? I looked and looked thru a magnifying glass and turned and turned the coin but regardless of how hard I looked or tried, I couldn;t make that L suddenly appear... crying01
