Great first Real hunt with the CTX

Went out with my buddy Roy to a really nice wooded area that we've hunted in the past that had yielded some silver. This was a nice 5 hour hunt on a beautiful day last Saturday and it was nice to give the CTX a good spin in a quality area. The hunt netted some really nice coins. I got 4 Barbers, 2 indians, a V nickel, and couple pieces of old jewelry. I also got a mercury dime on a short hunt on Friday. The quarters were 1894, 1894 o, 1895, and the barber dime was 1897. Roy got 4 silver also. He got a barber quarter, 2 barber dimes, and a merc. Great hunt and the coins were in great shape! Here's the pics!

By the way, I really like the CTX. I've taken to it really quick and I really like the 4 tone ID. Thus far, I've got 7 silver, 3 Large Cents, V nickel, Buffalo, bunch of wheats, and an old cracker jack token.

That's awesome beef..
How do you like the CTX compared to the ET.
At this pace you will have like 300 silver for the year...

:shocked04: Whoa! Now that's a sweet first hunt with the new CTX !!
Between the two of you, you guys found as many Barber quarters as I've found in 4 years of detecting.....IN ONE HUNT!!! :shocked04: :envious:
Holy moly! 8/ All I can say is....Unreal! :clapping: :perfect10:
Congrats to ya both!

Without giving up too much info of course :lipssealed:, whats kind of place is this Brian? :thinkingabout:
Besides AWESOME!! lol

Grove...old one...just a wooded hillside now. One would never guess anything would have been there. Still kinda baffles me why people would have went there. There's much nicer areas nearby.
