GW Commemorative Coin? 1820 LC, Indians

I was going to hunt with one of our best known and well-loved forum mates, but he decided to spend the day with his bride. :loveit: Even though I texted him that cuddle time was over he decided not to come out and dig.:crying01::lol: :poke:
I won't mention his name but he usually IDs all my GW finds  (and every other find on our forum)...so it was disconcerting to find (what may be) a GW commemorative and not have him there to ID it :):notworthy: The 1820 LC and Indians are in nice shape, but I'm really interested in that really large copper. Can anyone else, besides me, see GW facing left on the front? On the reverse, I see an eagle wing, a banner, and the letters "UNI" next to the hole. Thanks for any info! Not pictured are the 20 pieces of ammunition that hunters have left over the years.

Yow! I see the left facing bust and the eagle and shield Drew. Could be one of those Getz Private Pattern Coins. Awesome!

I'm starting to agree with Dave and Isaac , it is looking a bit like a counterfeit capped bust half dollar . Maybe with a bit more cleaning we will be able to confirm it .

You guys are AWESOME!!! :wow: That's exactly what it is! ...and it rang up VERY low for a honkin large copper. The LC was a 90 and this was 70. Thanks!!
Congrats on winning Dan!:thumbsup01:
Edit- ...oh wait...I FINALLY FOUND A CAPPED BUST ANYTHING!!!!!:bananadance:

Back to this site.

I was able to get back to this site this morning. I had a few hours and was fortunate enough to find this colorful 1827 LC, a 1933 dog tag, a knee buckle tongue, some shoe buckle parts, and a few flat buttons. Thanks again for IDing that half!
